Position Summary

To work under the direction and guidance of Physiotherapist to support the provision of Physiotherapy Services.

Summary of Main Duties

•    Actively participates in upholding and promoting the vision and culture of University Hospital – Sharjah (UHS)
•    Complies with all UHS policies and procedures and fire regulations 
•    Participates in all aspects of the International Accreditation program to assist UHS attain and maintain international accreditation standards 
•    Participates in commissioning assigned areas and associated Clinical areas 
•    Preparation of the physiotherapy treatment room, gym. ...after each patients. 
•    Preparation of machines and Therapeutical materials on PT’s requirement.
•    Maintain and monitor consumable equipment
•    Assisting in transfer of patients in the department.
•    Communicates effectively and work collaboratively with medical, nursing and therapy colleagues to ensure delivery of a coordinated multi-disciplinary service. 
•    Be actively involved in the monthly collection of appropriate data and statistics for the use of the department.
•    Comply with the organisational and departmental policies and procedures and to be involved in the reviewing and updating as appropriate and to follow the general professional guidelines and standards.
•    Works any shift as per the duty roster of the physiotherapy Department when designated...
•    Maintain and monitor supply of patient information leaflets
•    Carry out administrative task - answering calls and scheduling patients.
